She found someone to take away the heartache.
Cher gushed about her budding relationship with her much-younger boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, in a new TV interview.
“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” the “Believe” singer admitted on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Friday. “But in real life, we get along great.”
After sharing that she typically does not “give men” praise “they don’t deserve,” Cher, 76, described Edwards, 36, as “fabulous,” “very kind,” “very smart,” “very talented” and “really funny.”
“And I think he’s quite handsome,” she added.
The couple went public with their romance at the beginning of November when they were photographed holding hands outside celebrity hotspot Craig’s in West Hollywood.
Cher made her new relationship social media-official later that month, tweeting a photo of her beau with the caption, “Alexander♥️.”
When a fan pointed out the lovebirds’ 40-year age difference, the “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer responded, “LOVE DOESNT KNOW MATH, IT SEES ♥️♥️.” She also wrote that she does not “GIVE A✈️FK WHAT ANYONE THINKS.”
Cher has since continued to interact with fans about her new man, most recently tweeting that they “[kiss] Like Teenagers.”
But the “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” actress may want to be careful about Edwards, who previously admitted to cheating on his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, who is the mother of his 3-year-old son, Slash.
“He knows how to kiss ass. Always did,” the music executive’s friend Ryan Fluis recently told The Post. “So in a way it would make sense he’d wind up with someone like Cher.”
The music icon was previously married to the late Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman, with whom she shared sons Chaz and Elijah, respectively.
