Cloverfield 2 in the Works with Babak Anvari Directing!

Over three months after the movie’s release in theaters, we’ve learned today that Jurassic World Dominion has finally crossed $1 BILLION at the worldwide box office this week.

Variety reports, “To date, Jurassic World Dominion has collected $376 million at the domestic box office and $624 million internationally.”

That puts Dominion in the Billion Dollar Club with both Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which both stomped their way to even bigger worldwide totals.

Jurassic World made $1.67 billion in 2015, while Fallen Kingdom made $1.3 billion in 2018.

Jurassic World Dominion was positioned as the final film the Jurassic World Trilogy, but we can be pretty sure that Universal will be headed back into this world in the near future.

Both the Theatrical and brand new Extended versions of Jurassic World Dominion are now streaming on Peacock, the latter cut running a whopping 14 minutes longer.

Jurassic World Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

The much-anticipated return of the beloved franchise directed by Colin Trevorrow reunites two generations of Jurassic heroes, including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong and Omar Sy.
