Here are Deadwood’s gaming revenues for the month of August


Sports Wagering 4DEADWOOD, S.D. — Deadwood’s gaming numbers saw an increase in August according to statistics released by the South Dakota Commission on Gaming. Last month, Deadwood’s gaming handle was up 16.60 percent compared to August 2021.

The commission reports that the slot machine handle increased by 17.75 percent and the table game handle decreased by 2.97 percent over their numbers in August 2021.

Deadwood’s sports wagering brought in $266,673, while taxable adjusted gross revenues came in at $14.9 million.

“August’s strong performance pushed gaming revenues into positive territory for the year,” said Mike Rodman, executive director of the Deadwood Gaming Association. “We are thrilled to see 2022 numbers matching 2021’s record breaking year.”
