Hideo Kojima Teases Death Stranding 2 Reveal At The Game Awards

We won’t blame you if you missed this one, especially since Kojima decided to tweet it out after everyone had already gone to bed. In true Kojima fashion, the developer tweeted out in the early hours a picture of several white logos on a black background along with the caption “start a new journey.” With Geoff Keighley in the replies, it seems almost certain that we’ll see a new game from Kojima revealed at The Game Awards, which most fans seem to think will be Death Stranding 2.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Reportedly Launching August 2023

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was announced earlier this year with a vague release window of 2023, and it’s been all quiet since then. We’ve heard nothing more specific from Ubisoft, but reputable industry insider Tom Henderson has claimed that the title is expected to launch in August next year, after being internally delayed a couple of times already. It hasn’t been confirmed, and there’s still time for more internal delays, so take this date with a hefty pinch of salt.

The Callisto Protocol launched today and unfortunately it’s looking like one of the year’s biggest disappointments. Of course, that’s up for you to decide, but you may want to avoid buying the game on PC as several users are reporting stuttering issues. The problem is so widespread that it’s dramatically impacted the game’s Steam score, dropping to “Mostly Negative” soon after release.

Over at Activision Blizzard, it’s been announced that a second group of workers have succesfully unionized in what is a great win for worker’s rights. Game Workers Alliance Albany won its unionization vote by a whopping 80 percent, following in the footsteps of the original Game Workers Alliance that unionized back in May earlier this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 has gone from strength to strength ever since its dismal launch back in 2020, and with some DLC on the way CD Projekt Red believes it’s the perfect time to finally release a Game of the Year edition in 2023. We don’t have a release date, but CD Projekt Red joint CEO Adam Kicinski revealed it will launch after the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC and another “substantial supdate.” Better late than never, right?
