In this one has to verify the installation of Oracle 12C by means of certain files and performing certain steps as follows:-
Verifying the Oracle services
In this we need to navigate to C:\Windows\system32 and double click on the services where you can see the whole list of services as shown in Fig 4.20

This is the first step in the verification of the successful installation of Oracle 12C on the system.
Viewing Oracle home on the file system.
In this one has to navigate to C:\app\OracleHomeUser1 folder.
This folder paticularly contains all the database files (in a separate oradata folder) and the Oracle Database software (in a separate product folder).

In this one has to navigate to the folder with the path C:\app\OracleHomeUser1\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1.
This folder is named as the “Oracle Home” which was created during the installation and contains the respective software files related to the particular database.

View the tnsnames.ora file
In this one has to navigate to C:\app\OracleHomeUser1\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN. and double click on tnsnames.ora to view the file.

In that particular file on can see that the connection to database ‘ORCL’ has been done and the listed services can also be seen there.
