Chandler event focuses on coding, computer science

Chandler-area parents, do you have students interested in coding or even passionate?

More importantly, do you have students who are not sure if they will like coding or computer science field?

Saturday, there is an excellent opportunity for both.

Basha High School’s Computer Science Program is hosting a “Day of Code” event on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event will help students learn how to code and understand the critical thinking and creativity that goes along with coding. All middle school students (grades 6 through 8) are welcome to attend, and all skill levels are welcomed. There will be snacks and water provided, and the event will take place in room K105.
